The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act: What HR Needs to Know NOW (and Very Soon) - Saddle Brook

Important provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (the Act) go into effect on September 23, 2010, including a phased-in tax credit for small employers, the elimination of lifetime maximums for essential medical services, coverage for dependent children up to the age of 26 and the elimination of pre-existing exclusions for dependent children under age 19.
