March 12, 2009 (Thursday)
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

The Paycheck Fairness Act amends the Equal Pay Act of 1963, which makes unequal pay between men and women who perform equal work unlawful. The Equal Pay Act is administered and enforced by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and prohibits sex-based wage discrimination between men and women in the same establishment who are performing under similar working conditions.
