Both the Fair Labor Standards Act and the NJ Wage and Hour law require employees receive compensation for time worked.  But there are certain periods of time when you may not consider your employees to be working?but the Department of Labor does.  Do your employees perform work from home in the evening or on the weekends?  Do they use their smart-phone or other mobile device to respond to emails after hours?  Do they perform work while on a leave?  This one-hour session will help you limit potential wage hour claims and provide some options to gain control over ?out of sight? liability.
