A 1/2 day intense workshop to help companies understand affirmative action in employment obligations under Executive Order 11246.

This workshop will go over the history and requirements of
Executive Order 11246:

  • Who is a "covered" employer
  • What is an Affirmative Action Program: required components;
    workforce,  job groups, statistical analysis, comparison of incumbency
    to availability, prior year goals, narrative of company's affirmative action posture.
  • How to Survive a Compliance Review:  overview of a compliance review; tips to be prepared
  • Maintaining applicant flow; hires, promotions and terminations data.


Barbara Cordasco, EANJ

Representatives from OFCCP, Mountainside District Office will address how companies are selected for review, the desk audit and on-site review processes.

State Department of the Treasury, Division of Public Contracts will speak on general AA requirements for procurement and service vendors.

Non members: $135 per person

Substitutions are permitted, however in order to meet program commitments, cancellations made less than two (2) full working days before the program date or "no-shows", must be charged the full registration fee.
