Location:EANJ Training Room, Livingston
Sponsored by:EANJ

EANJ will be hosting the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) on Wednesday July 16th from 10-12.

This is a unique opportunity to meet and talk to the EEOC.

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is responsible for enforcing federal laws that make it illegal to discriminate against a job applicant or an employee because of the person's race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or older), disability or genetic information. It is also illegal to discriminate against a person because the person complained about discrimination, filed a charge of discrimination, or participated in an employment discrimination investigation or lawsuit.

John Waldinger, Area Office Director of the Newark EEOC Office will be here to discuss strategic initiatives, enforcement trends and accommodations as well fielding questions from attendees.

If you have questions you would like to ask EEOC, you can forward them to us and we will submit to the agency, anonymously of course.
