TWO DATES, TWO LOCATIONS

Navigating time off in the Garden State involves careful orchestration among various legal nuances, where the intersection of multiple laws often come into play.

The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and New Jersey Family Leave Act (NJFLA) provide eligible employees working for covered employers with up to 12 weeks of job protected leave each year for specified family and medical reasons.  Additionally, most employees in the state are eligible for Paid Family Medical Leave benefits in the form of Temporary Disability Insurance and Family Leave Insurance.

Join us for a half-day session offering an overview of these laws, with a particular focus on the interplay in real-world scenarios.
