The OFFCCP has been extremely active proposing major changes that will significantly affect the administration of your Affirmative Action Program. These changes include a revised audit scheduling letter requesting additional information, revisions to the Veterans Regulations including identification of Vets with corresponding record-keeping and extended record retention, and for the first time in years, the OFCCP Compliance Manual will be updated.
At the same, OFCCP is making the most of their enforcement authority, with a rigid schedule of compliance audits in all regions. A “reasonable” AAP is no longer the standard. An “‘acceptable” AAP (according to the agency) means a contractor must demonstrate, document and show the fruition of its good faith efforts.
