Civility

Civility training represents a paradigm shift from traditional anti-harassment programs by emphasizing proactive and positive behaviors rather than merely discouraging negative conduct.  In response to the recognition by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) that workplace incivility serves as a precursor to harassment, there is a growing emphasis on the importance of civility training for employers. The shift in focus from what not to do to what to do fosters a more constructive approach to creating a respectful and inclusive workplace culture.

Furthermore, workplace civility is a multipurpose tool that promotes engagement, retention, inclusion, and fosters a positive work environment.  Join us for this one hour session that will delve into core civility concepts, providing participants with simple steps to actively promote a respectful workplace culture.
