Printer-friendly version

The newly enacted Access to Employer-Based Health Insurance Act requires employers to identify employees who receive health care benefits under the NJ FamilyCare Program and report the following information to the NJ Department of Human Services when there are 50 or more identified employees:

  • Employers name and address
  • Whether employer offers health care coverage
  • Number of employees and dependents receiving charity care

The Department of Human Services and/or the NJ Department of Labor will prepare a reporting form and send it to employers.
