New Version of Whistleblower Notice Issued

Printer-friendly version

The January 2005 HR Alert explained that most New Jersey employers had to post English and Spanish versions of a notice informing employees of their rights under the NJ Conscientious Employee Protection Act (CEPA), otherwise known as the “Whistleblower Law.”  The poster has been amended by the NJ Department of Labor to include informing employees that before filing a charge to a public body, the employer must be given an opportunity to investigate, unless the employer is already on notice of the alleged wrongdoing or under emergency circumstances.
